Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 1000, estimated cost should be less than or equal 50 lacs BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 2000000.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 6000000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 2000000 ~ 5000000.
Eligibility criteria:
A Contractor's firm is working in Government,Semi government and autonomous bodies hahing the followings :
1. Minimum 5 (five) years general experience in Construction works.
2. A satisfactory Completion of similar nature Electric overhead line of works at least Tk.15 lakhs under single contract(s) over a period of 3 (three) years.Years counting backward from the date of publication of IFT in the newspaper.
3.The required average annual construction turnover shall be greater than Tk.100 lakhs The period may be best three (3) years in the last five (5) years, years counting backward from the date of publication of IFT in the newspaper.
4. The minimum amount of liquid assets or working capital or credit facilities of the Tenderer shall be Tk.10 lakhs, Document submitted along with the tender must be issued in between publication date and submission date of the tender. Prescribed form for line of credit for this purpose shall be submitted as per form PW2a-7 of tender
5. The minimum tender capacity shall be Tk.16 lakhs, Supporting information must be filled up as per enclosed form (list of ongoing works/commitments) All other conditions as mentioned in e-TDS & PCC of e-tender document must be fulfilled.
6. The tenderers must enclose Up-to date VAT Registration certificate, Income Tax certificate and Trade License as well as Other required eligibility and conditions of the Tender as shown in Tender Data Sheet (TDS).
(7) Up-to-date ABC Electrical licence.
(8) Tenderers having quoted the tender price more than 10% (ten) percent above or below the official cost estimate, the tender will be rejected.
