Brief Description of Package: The work includes rectification, maintenance, and restoration of Bangladesh Railway Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) network at Jaria–Shamgonj–Netrokona Section. The scope comprises fault detection and localization using OTDR, excavation and exposure of damaged cable, fiber cutting and re-jointing through fusion splicing, replacement of damaged OFC and accessories, installation/repair of joint closures, testing and commissioning of fiber links, restoration of trenches and site reinstatement, and ensuring proper transmission performance as per Bangladesh Railway technical standards. All works shall be executed in compliance with relevant safety, railway protection, and telecommunication guidelines.

* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 966666.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 2900000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 966666 ~ 2900000.
Eligibility criteria:
The Tenderer shall be a citizen or legally registered entity of Bangladesh and shall have legal capacity to enter into contract under the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
The Tenderer must possess valid and up-to-date Trade License, Income Tax Clearance Certificate, TIN and BIN Registration Certificates, and VAT Registration Certificate.
The Tenderer shall have a minimum of Three (03) years of general experience in telecommunication, fiber optic cable (OFC) installation, rectification, or maintenance works. The Tenderer must have successfully completed at least one (01) similar contract within the last five (05) years with a value not less than the amount specified in the Tender Data Sheet, supported by work completion certificates issued by the Procuring Entity.
The Tenderer must demonstrate availability of liquid assets, working capital, or credit facilities from a scheduled bank in the amount specified in the TDS, issued within twenty-eight (28) days prior to the deadline for submission of tenders.
