Brief Description of Package: Construction of Flexible Pavement from Pier-42 Entry Gate to Jetty, Padma Bridge, Janjira, Shariatpur.
The Works consist of Roadway Excavation, Superstructure, Preparation of Sub-grade, Improved Sub-grade, Sub-Base, Aggregate Base Type-1, Bituminous Prime Coat, Dense Bituminous Surfacing Binder Coarse,Dense Bituminous Surfacing Wearing Coarse, Road Marking etc.

Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 4000, estimated cost should be more than 2 crore BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 83333333.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 250000000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 83333333 ~ 250000000.
Eligibility criteria:
1) The minimum General Experience of the tenderer in the construction works as Prime Contractor Shall be 03 (Three) years.
2) The minimum specific experience as a Prime Contractor of at least 1 (one) contract of Road Construction works, successfully completed within the last 20 (twenty) years with a value of at least Tk. 5.25 crore (Five crore Twenty-Five lac) in Govt./Semi Govt./Autonomous Organization. (Years will be counted backward from the date of publication of IFT)
The experience should be certified by designated officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer.
3) The tenderers shall have a minimum average annual construction turnover of Tk. 14 Crore (Fourteen Crore) over the best 3 (three) years in the last 5 (five) financial years. Payment certificates for contracts in progress or completed under the public sector must be submitted along with the tender in support of the average annual construction turnover.
4) The minimum amount of free funds (liquid assets) or credit facilities of the Tenderer shall be Tk. 3.50 crore (Three crore Fifty lac).
5) The minimum Tender capacity shall be Tk. 7.50 crore (Seven crore Fifty lac).
