Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 2000, estimated cost should be more than 50 lacs BDT, but less than or equal 2 crore BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 10000000.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 30000000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 10000000 ~ 20000000.
Eligibility criteria:
Eligibility of Tenderer:
a) Reputed contractors/ construction firms who have minimum 5(five) years of general experience in construction works.
b) Having specific experience as a prime contractor in successful completion of at least 01 (one) number of Construction Works including civil, sanitary and electrification works worth not less than Tk. 70.00 (Seventy) Lac in a single contract in Government/ Semi-Government/ Autonomous Organization of Bangladesh during last 05 (five) years. In case of the work done under PWD the certifying & authenticating authority shall be the concerned EE. (ii) In case of the work done under any Government/ Semi- Government/ Autonomous Organization other than PWD the certifying authority shall be an officer not below the rank of EE and the same duly verified by the concerned EE of PWD of that district.
c) The Tenderer shall have a minimum average annual construction turn over during last 05 (five) years of Tk. 12000000.00 (One Crores Twenty Lac)
d) The minimum amount of liquid asset or working capital or credit facilities of the Tenderer shall be Tk. 60.00 (Sixty) Lac.
e) The minimum tender capacity shall be Tk. 85 (Eighty Five) Lac as per formula statedin TDS
f) The Tenderer must posses: i) Up to date trade license. ii) Valid VAT Registration certificate from concerned office. iii)Up to date income tax clearance certificate iv) Up to date ABC category contractor and supervisory license from Electricity Licensing Board, GoB.
g) Tender will be evaluated with latest amendments of PPA 2006 & PPR 2008
