Appointment of a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) Agent for conducting Pre-Shipment Inspection and testing worldwide, and Post-Landing Inspection in Bangladesh of gas materials to be imported by JGTDSL for a period of three (03) years.
Package Title: The Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) Agent shall be responsible for conducting independent inspection, testing, and verification of gas equipment and materials to be imported by Jalalabad Gas Transmission and Distribution System Ltd. (JGTDSL) from various international sources.The scope of services shall include, but not be limited to, the following:Carrying out pre-shipment inspection at the manufacturer’s premises or designated locations worldwide to verify compliance of goods with contractual specifications, approved drawings, standards, and quality requirements.Witnessing and verifying factory acceptance tests (FAT), laboratory testing, and other quality control procedures as per relevant international standards.Coordinating and facilitating testing of samples at internationally recognized or accredited laboratories, where required.Verifying quantity, quality, workmanship, packing, marking, and documentation of goods prior to shipment.Issuing inspection reports, test certificates, and release/shipment clearance certificates in accordance with contract requirements.Performing post-landing inspection in Bangladesh, including verification of received goods at designated stores, ports, or project sites to ensure conformity with shipment documents and contract specifications.Maintaining proper documentation and submitting timely reports to the Procuring Entity.
