Brief Description of Package: Establishment of Epidemiological Unit at Civil Surgeon Office, Gopalganj.

Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 2000, estimated cost should be more than 50 lacs BDT, but less than or equal 2 crore BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 8333333.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 25000000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 8333333 ~ 20000000.

Eligibility criteria:
This invitation for Tender is open for all eligible Tenderers as mentioned below:
(a) The minimum number of years of general experience of the Tenderer in Construction Works as Prime Contractor shall be 5(five) years. [Years counting backward from the date of publication of IFT in the newspaper]
(b) The minimum specific experience as a Prime Contractor of at least 01(One) contract of 01(one) no. building construction work completed within the last 05(Five) years in the Government/ Semi-Government/ Autonomous Organization of Bangladesh, with a value of at least Tk 55, 00,000.00 (Tk Fifty Five lakh).
(c) The required average annual construction turnover shall be greater than Tk 120, 00,000.00 (Tk One Hundred and Twenty Lakh) over the best 3 years in the last 5(Five) years. A summary sheet of the last five years' construction turnover in the Government/ Semi-Government/ Autonomous Organization of Bangladesh must be submitted with all supporting documents. For Turnover calculation, a Financial Year wise payment Certificate from Concern PE is required.
(d) The minimum amount of Liquid assets in the form of working capital or credit facilities of Tk 100,00,000.00 (Tk One Hundred Lakh) is required. In case of Line of Credit, certificates must be unconditional and specified for this work only submitted in the prescribed Form of CPTU from any scheduled bank.
(e) Tender Capacity of the Tenderer shall be Tk 75,00,000.00 (Tk Seventy Five Lakh).
(f) The Tenderer must enclose up to date Trade License, Income Tax certificate and Valid VAT documents, up to date ABC category Contractory & Electrical Supervisory license from Bangladesh Electrical Licensing Board along with the tender.
(g) The firms which are already debarred by the World Bank are not eligible to participate in this tender.
(h) Other required eligibility and conditions of the tenderer are given in TDS, PCC & Section 8 of STD.
