Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 2000, estimated cost should be more than 50 lacs BDT, but less than or equal 2 crore BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 18333333.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 55000000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 18333333 ~ 20000000.
Eligibility criteria:
a) Reputed Contractors/ Construction firms who have minimum 10(Ten) years of general experience in construction works.
(b) Having experience in Similar nature of work in a single contract amounting Tk.1.20 (One Point Two Zero) Crore within last 05 (Five) years in Government / Semi- Government/ Autonomous Organization of Bangladesh.
(c) The tenderers shall have a minimum average annual construction turnover during last 03 (Three) financial years of Tk. 1.00 (One point Zero) Crore. Payment certificates for contracts in progress or completed under public sector must be submitted along with the tender in support of average annual construction turnover.
(d) The minimum amount of liquid assets or working capital or credit facilities of the Tenderer shall be BDT 85.00 (Eighty Five) Lacs.The certificate regarding financial qualification must be issued not earlier than 28 (twenty eight) days prior to the tender submission deadline. In case of credit facilities, letter of commitment for Bank’s Undertaking for Line of Credit must be submitted as per form PW2a-3 of Tender and Contract Forms section.
e) Tender Capacity must be Tk. 1.00(One point five Zero) Crore.
(f) The tenderer must posses:
i) TIN certificate.
ii) Valid VAT registration certificate.
iii) Up-to-date trade license
