1) Large Piped Water Supply Schemes will be implemented by the selection of BO (Build-Operate) Firm/Contractor.
2) The awarded BO Firm/Contractor will be fully responsible for ensuring sustainable operation & maintenance (O&M) for initial 05 (Five) years after completion of physical works with successful commissioning & trial run of the scheme. For this purpose, a quadripartite agreement has to be furnished along with submission of a security bond amounting to 05% of the contract value of the scheme in the form of a Pay order/Bank guarantee in favor of the relevant executive engineer before submission of the final bill. The security bond will be released after successful operation & maintenance (O&M) of the initial 05 (Five) Years.
