Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 4000, estimated cost should be more than 2 crore BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 26666666.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 80000000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 26666666 ~ 80000000.
Eligibility criteria:
This invitation for Tenders is open to all eligible Tenderers as mentioned below:
(a) Reputed Contractors/Construction firms who have minimum 10 (ten) years of general experience in construction works.
(b) Specific experience as a Prime Contractor or Sub Contractor or Management Contractor in successful completion of at least 1 (one) number of similar nature of work or RCC construction work of minimum Tk. 1.70 (one point seven zero) Crore in a single contract in Government / Semi-Government / Autonomous Organization of Bangladesh during last 5 (five) years. In case of the work done under PWD, the certifying and authenticating authority shall be the concerned Executive Engineer. In case of work done under any Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous/Organization other than PWD the certifying authority shall be an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer and the same duly verified by the concerned Executive Engineer of PWD of that district under whose jurisdiction the work has been done.
(c) The Tenderer shall have a minimum average annual construction turnover of Tk. 6.50 (six point five zero) Crore during last 5 (five) years. Total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed contracts under public sector during last 5 (five) years must be submitted along with the tender in support of average annual construction turnover.
(d) The tenderer must have a minimum liquid assets, working capital/Credit line (s) (must be in the form of PW3-7 in original form) of Tk. 1.50 (one point five zero) Crore. Document submitted along with the tender must be issued in between publication date and submission date of the tender.
(e) The minimum Tender Capacity shall be Tk. 2.35 (two point three five) Crore.
(f) The Tenderer must possess: Up-to-date income tax clearance certificate, VAT registration certificate, Up-to-date trade license.
