Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 4000, estimated cost should be more than 2 crore BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 83333333.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 250000000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 83333333 ~ 250000000.
Eligibility criteria:
(a) Reputed Contractors/Construction firms who have minimum 5 years of general experience in construction works.
(b) Having experience in successful completion of at least 1(one) number of RCC building construction of minimum Tk 600.0 (six hundred point zero) lac in a single tender in Government /Semi-Government /Autonomous Organization of Bangladesh during last 5 (five) years . In case of the work done except PWD, the certifying and authenticating authority shall be the concerned Executive Engineer.
(c) The tenderers shall have a minimum average annual construction turnover over last 5 (five) years of Tk 2000.0 (two thousand) lac. Years counting backward from the date of publication of IFT in the eGP..
(d)The minimum amount of liquid assets i.e working capital or credit line(s) of the tenderer shall be Tk. 300.00 (three hundred) lac . The certificate of free fund (liquid asset) must be unconditional and to be issued in favor of related work (the name of work). Liquid asset must be substantiated by a letter of commitment of banks undertaking for line of credit. Document submitted along with the tender must be issued in between publication date and submission date of the tender.
(e) Tender Capacity of Tk 700.0 (seven hundred) lac. To calculate tender capacity the tenderer must submit his/their ongoing work details i.e. contract amount, payment bill amount, remaining works amount and other required information.
(f) Tenderers having quoted the tender price more than 10 (Ten) percent above or below the official cost estimate, the tender will be rejected.
The tenderer must posses
i) Up-to-date income tax clearance certificate .
ii) Valid VAT registration certificate.
iii) Up-to-date trade license .
iv)Up-to-date ABC category contractory and supervisory licence from Electricity Licencing Board, GOB.
