Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 1000, estimated cost should be less than or equal 50 lacs BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 8333333.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 25000000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 8333333 ~ 5000000.
Eligibility criteria:
This invitation for Tenders is open to all eligible Tenderers as mentioned below
(a) Reputed Contractors/Construction firms having minimum 10 (Ten) years of general experience in construction works.
(b) Specific experience as a Prime Contractor/Sub Contractor/Management Contractor in successful completion of at least 1(one) number of building construction work having single basement of minimum Tk. 75.00 (Seventy Five) lakh in a single contract in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Organization of Bangladesh during last 05 (five) years. In case of the work done under PWD, the certifying and authenticating authority shall be the concerned Executive Engineer. In case of work done under any Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous/Organization other than PWD, the certifying authority shall be an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer and the same duly verified by the concerned Executive Engineer of PWD of that district under whose jurisdiction the work has been done.
(c) The Tenderer shall have a minimum average annual construction turnover of Tk. 200,00,000.00 (Two crore) during last 05 (five) years.Total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed contracts under public sector during last 05 (five) years must be submitted along with the tender in support of average annual construction turnover.
(d) The minimum amount of liquid asset or working capital or credit line(s) of the Tenderer shall be Tk.50,00,000.00 (Fifty Lac). Document submitted along with the tender must be issued in between publication date and submission date of the tender.
(e) The Tenderer must possess: Up-to-date income tax clearance certificate,VAT registration certificate,Up-to-date trade license.
(f)Tenderer’s having quoted the tender price more than 10(Ten) per cent above/below the Official Cost Estimate shall be rejected.
