Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 2000, estimated cost should be more than 50 lacs BDT, but less than or equal 2 crore BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 13333333.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 40000000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 13333333 ~ 20000000.
Eligibility criteria:
This invitation for Tenders is open to all eligible Tenderers.
a) Reputed Firm/organization/authorized agent who have min. 10 (Ten) years of general experience in construction works
b) Having experience in successfully completion of at least 1 no. of construction work of Permanent/Semi Permanent structure Building amounting to Tk.1.00 Crore (BDT One Crore) only in a single Tender during last 5 years i) In case of the work done under PWD, the certifying and authenticating authority shall be the concerned Executive Engineer
ii) In case of the work done under any Government/ Semi-Government/ Autonomous Bodies/ Organization other than PWD the certifying authority shall be an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer and the same duly verified by the concerned Executive Engineer of PWD
c) The Tenderer must process:
i) Up to date valid Trade license, up to date income tax clearance certificate from NBR, up to date ABC license with supervisory license & Valid VAT registration certificate from NBR
d) The Tenderer shall have a minimum annual average construction turn over in the last 5 (five) years of Tk.1.40 Crore (BDT One Crore Forty Lakh) only.
e) The minimum amount of liquid assets of the successful Tenderer shall be of Tk.1.10 Crore (BDT One Crore Ten Lakh) only to be issued in Letter of commitment for Bank’s Undertaking for line of credit in the format as specified (Form e-PW2)
f) All other terms and conditions are shown in the TDS of the Tender Documents.
g) Tender capacity Tk.1.20 Crore (BDT One Crore Twenty Lakh) only
h) A Tender security will be required in the form of Pay Order or Bank Draft or Bank Guarantee in favor of the Executive Engineer, Gazipur PWD Division.
