Brief Description of Package: Supply of Fire Fighting Equipment & Fittings and Refilling of DCP, CO2 and Foam Cylinders for the Substations under GMD Sirajganj, Power Grid Bangladesh PLC
Eligibility criteria:
The supplier must be an approved manufacturer/supplier of fire extinguishers authorized by the Government (BSTI). Valid trade license must be submitted.
The supplier company must possess valid Fire Service and Civil Defence licenses.
The ABC type dry powder used in the fire extinguishers must have all standard chemical properties, and supporting documents/certificates must be submitted.
The dry powder used in the fire extinguishers must contain Monoammonium Phosphate minimum 40%-50% based and Ammonium Sulphate 30%-40% based. Relevant test reports must be submitted with the tender.
The supplier must have previous experience in supplying and refilling fire extinguishers for Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous organizations.
The bidder must have adequate manpower, equipment, and necessary arrangements for proper execution of the work (Must ensure after contract)
Nitrogen gas must be used for pressurizing the cylinders during refilling (Must ensure after contract)
After supply of fire extinguishers, a warranty period of 02 (two) years for supplied fire extinguishers and 01 (one) year for refilling works must be provided (Must ensure after contract) Note: The eligibility criteria of the Tenderer may be relaxed at the sole discretion of the Tender Evaluation Committee (TEC), in consultation with the Procuring Entity (PE), considering the nature of this procurement being conducted under the RFQ method and the Tenderers being pre-selected prospective Tenderers.
