Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 1000, estimated cost should be less than or equal 50 lacs BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 1000000.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 3000000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 1000000 ~ 3000000.
Eligibility criteria:
(a)The minimum number of years of general experience of the Tenderer in the Electrical works as prime contractor or Subcontractor of Management Contractor shall be 03(Three) years.
(b)The minimum specific experience as a Prime contractor or subcontractor or Management Contractor in similar nature (Electric works) of at least 1(one) contract successfully completed in Government/semi-Government/Autonomous organization of Bangladesh within the last 05(five) years,with a value of at least TK. 7.50 (Seven point five zero) Lac.
(c) The required average annual construction turnover shall be greater than Tk 10.00(Ten) Lac in the Last 5 (Five) years. In Support of average annual construction turnover,payment certificates for contracts in progress or complete under public sector during last 5(five) years must be submitted along with the tender.Other formats of documents are not acceptable.
(d)The minimum amount of liquid assets or working capital or credit facilities of the Tenderer shall be Tk.7.00 (Seven) Lac only to be issued in the format of Letter of Commitment for Bank,s undertaking for line of credit(Form e-PW2A-8) from any scheduled bank without any alteration,and otherwise tenderer will be considered as non-responsive .
(e)The intending tenderer must enclose VAT regi. & Income Tax certificate, up-to-date Trade license & ABC/BC Elect. license & super. license from E.L.B.B.
f) The minimum Tender Capacity is Tk. 8.00 ( Eight point zero) ) Lac. Supporting information must be filled up as per enclosed form (list of ongoing works).All other conditions as mentioned in e-TDS & PCC of e-tender document must be fulfilled.
*VAT shall be deducted from the contractor's bill using the current NBR rate,regardless of the VAT rate specified in the PWD Schedule of Rates,which was used for estimation of this work*
