Brief Description of Package: Survey and selection of structures and equipment at CGS, TBS, DRS, and
Valve Stations
Surface preparation including cleaning, rust removal, and old paint removal.
Application of approved anti-corrosive primer.
Application of finishing coats as per specification.
Painting of pipelines, valves, equipment, supports, and station structures.
Color coding, marking, and identification of gas facilities.
Protection of operating equipment during painting.
Compliance with gas safety rules, PPE use, and permit system.
Cleaning of site and handover after completion.
Al materials, workmanship, and completed works shal be inspected and
accepted by the Engineer-in-Charge (E/C). Any defective work shal be
rectified by the contractor at his own cost.
Tender Document Price: Tk. 1000;
Tender Security: 28000 BDT
Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 1000, estimated cost should be less than or equal 50 lacs BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 933333.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 2800000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 933333 ~ 2800000.
Eligibility criteria:
1. The minimum number of years of general experience of the Tenderer in
Government / Semi-government / autonomous body as Prime Contractor/Sub
Contractor/ Third Party shal be 3 (Three) years.
(Years counting backward from the date of publication of IFT in the
newspaper)
2. The Tenderer shal have a minimum specific experience of successfuly
completing works or related services as a Prime Contractor or Sub-Contractor
under any Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Organization, or as
a Prime Contractor, Sub-Contractor, Service Provider, or Local Agent under
any foreign-funded project, involving execution of one or more of the folowing
activities:
• Gas Stations Painting;
• Gas stations or similiar structure painting/coloring works under petrobangla
and its companies.
3. The required experience shal be demonstrated in any of the above
mentioned work through the successful completion 01 (one) no contract of
above mentioned nature, complexity, and methods/technology, executed over
the last five (3) years, with a total cumulative contract value of not less than
BDT 8.00 (Eight) Lakh. The completed services must be supported by
customer’s detailed address with Telephone number, Fax number & e- mail
address. The related evidences must be submitted along with the tender
(Years counting backward from the date of publication of IFT in the
newspaper)
4. The required average annual turnover of the Tenderer shal be greater
than Tk. 20.00 (Twenty) lakh over the best 02 year from last 05 years.
5. The minimum amount of liquid assets i.e. working capital or credit line(s) of
the Tenderer shal be Tk. 10.00 (Ten) Lakh.
