Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 1000, estimated cost should be less than or equal 50 lacs BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 1066666.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 3200000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 1066666 ~ 3200000.
Eligibility criteria:
a) The minimum number of years of general experience of the Tenderer in Construction Works as Prime Contractor shall be 05 years.
(b) The minimum specific experience as a Prime Contractor of at least Building Construction work including civil, sanitay works worth not less than Tk 11.00 lakh in a single contract in Government/Semi-Government /Autonomous Organization of Bangladesh during last 05 (five) years. In case of the work done under any Government/ Semi Government/ Autonomous Bodies/ Organization other than PWD, the certifying authority shall be an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer and the same duly verified by the concerned Executive Engineer of PWD of that district under whose jurisdiction the work has been done.
(c) The required average annual construction turnover shall be greater than Tk 50.00 Lac over the last 5(Five) years in Government/Semi-Government/ Autonomous Organization of Bangladesh supported by payment certificates.
(d) The minimum amount of free fund (liquid assets) i.e working capitals or credit facilities of the Tenderer shall be Tk 14.00 Lac. Document of Liquid Assets submitted along with the tender must be issued in between publication date and submission date of the tender. Certificate of unconditional Liquid Asset must be in the form of letter of commitment of Bank for line of credit to the Tenderer in favour of the work in the form PW2-a, otherwise the tender will be summarily rejected.
(e) Tender capacity of tenderer must be minimum 10.00 lakh
(f) The Tenderer must submit be Certification of having steel shutter, props etc.(g) Tenderers have to enclose with Tender: (i) Up-to-date Trade License (ii) Up-to-date Income Tax Clearance Certificate (iii) Valid VAT Registration Certificate (iv) Up-to-date ABC and supervisory License of his own from Electrical Licensing Board, GOB
