Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 2000, estimated cost should be more than 50 lacs BDT, but less than or equal 2 crore BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 6333333.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 19000000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 6333333 ~ 19000000.
Eligibility criteria:
This invitation for tenders is open to all eligible tenderers as mentioned below
1) Reputed Contractors/ Construction firms who have minimum 5 (Five) years
of generalexperience in the works/supply of Electrical Goods and related
services.
2) Having minimum experience as a Prime Contractor in successful completion
of supplying,installation, testing and commissioning of similar works and related
services of Tk.50.00 (fifty) Lac in a single contract in Government/ Semi-Government/
AutonomousOrganization of Bangladesh during last 5 (Five) years.
(i) Having experience in completion of supplying, installation of 1 (one) 150
KVA electrical Sub-Station equipment (Transformer, EP, HT-LT switch gear and PFI plant etc) in a single work order during last 5(Five) years.
3) The tenderers shall have a minimum average annual construction turnover
during last 5(five) financial years of Tk. 130 (One Hundred Thirty) Lac.
4) The minimum amount of liquid asset or working capital or credit facilities of
the tenderershall be Tk. 33.00 (Thirty three) Lac in the prescribed form (PW2A).
5) The tenderer must possess ;
i) Up-to-date income tax clearance certificate & trade license.
ii) Valid VAT registration certificate. (13 digit)
iii) Up-to-dated ABC category license. No join venture (JV) is applicable.
6) Tenderers having quoted the price of the lowest evaluated Tender exceeds
the official cost estimate, the tender will be rejected.
7) TEC preserve the authority to declare null and void any tender proposal without mentioning any cause. TEC is not bound to accept lowest rate proposal.
8) Tenderer having any delayed incomplete works under the Divisions of HED
Circle-3 will be considered as technically non-responsive.
