Brief Description of Package: Construction/Reconstruction/Renovation of 133 Community Toilets and 55 Bathing chamber at 71 sites in selected Low-Income Community (LIC) areas of Dhaka City-Lot-7.The Package (Lot-7) includes construction, reconstruction or renovation of 71 Community toilet-bathing Units under DESWS Project at 71 sites in 12 different LICs (Low Income Communities). This Package comprises 66 Units of new construction or reconstruction and 5 Units of renovation works at mainly DWASA MODS Zone 4 & 10 in Dhaka City. The newly constructed Units have total 188 chambers including 133 toilet chambers and 55 bathing chambers. The design of each community toilet-bathing WASH block comprises septic tank, soak-well, superstructure, ram /stair (as applicable), electrification, running water system, etc. The selected construction sites are situated within the LICs where transport can enter seldom from adjacent roads; therefore, construction materials need to be carried manually to the sites in most cases.
