Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 4000, estimated cost should be more than 2 crore BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 240000000.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 720000000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 240000000 ~ 720000000.
Eligibility criteria:
All contractors registered in the e-GP portal who have:
a. The minimum number of years of general experience of the Contractor (All Partners) in the construction works as Prime Contractor shall be 5(Five) years.
b. The lead firm should have minimum specific experience as a Prime Contractor in construction works of at least 1(One) contract of similar nature (Civil Engineering Works) successfully completed with a value of at least Tk.14.00 (Fourteen) Crore.
c. The lead firm/JV firm should have minimum specific experience as a Prime Contractor in at least 1(One) contract of similar nature (Electrical works of a building) successfully completed with a value of at least Tk.2.00 (Two) Crore.
d. The lead/JV firm should have minimum specific experience as a Prime/Sub Contractor/Supplier in at least 1(One) contract of similar nature (Furniture Supply) successfully completed with a value of at least Tk.50.00 (Fifty) Lakh.
e. The required average annual construction turnover shall be greater than Tk.35.00 (Thirty Five) Crore in the last 5 (Five) years.
f. The minimum amount of liquid assets i,e working capital or credit line(s) of the Contractors shall be Tk.8.00 (Eight) Crore.
g. The lead/JV firm should have ABC Licesnce.
h. Only experince from Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous organization of Bangladesh within the last 5 (Five) years will be calculated. Last 5 (Five) years will be counted backward from the date of publication of Tender Notice. In addition to these the contractor has to comply by the required experience/documents stated in TDS, PCC, and Tender Forms. In form of JV not more that 3 partners are allowed.
