Brief Description of Package: Construction of Crop protection earthen dyke at any upazila under Project Area
Tender Document Price: Tk. 2000; Tender Security: 250000 BDT
Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 2000, estimated cost should be more than 50 lacs BDT, but less than or equal 2 crore BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 8333333.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 25000000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 8333333 ~ 20000000.

Eligibility criteria:
Reputed Contractors who have minimum 5 (Five) years of general experience in construction works having a satisfactory completion of similar nature of work as specific experience i.e Construction of Crop protection earthen dyke with hydraulic structure of value Tk 70.00 (Seventy) lakhs under a single contract within the last 5 (Five) years are eligible for this tender;
The minimum amount of Liquid asset shall be Tk.68.00 (Sixty Eight) lakhs. Document submitted along with the tender must be issued in between publication date and submission date of the tender. Original Certificate (scanned Copy) of Liquid Asset or credit facilities from any scheduled bank of Bangladesh must be enclosed along with the tender in the form of letter of commitment for Bank undertaking for line of credit for this purpose shall be submitted as per Form of tender and contract forms;
The tenderer shall have minimum average annual construction Turnover of Tk. 170.00 (One Hundred & Seventy) lakhs during the last 5 years;
The Tenderer must enclose up-to-date Trade license, income Tax clearance certificate, valid VAT registration certificate along with the Tender;
Other required eligibility and conditions of the Tender are shown in Tender Data Sheet (TDS) of tender documents.
The work of the packages may be totally dropped, decrease or increase as per field condition/ design/ budget allocation for which no claim shall be entertained.
Proven document of the ownership of equipment or document on non-judicial stamp of Taka 300.00 between the owner and Contractor.
The bidders can either bid for one lot/tender or more in the same package (WD1-CPED)) and could be awarded more than one lot/tender if they satisfy the qualification criteria. Maximum number lots/tenders awarded to the same lowest responsive bidder is limited 2 (Two).
