Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 2000, estimated cost should be more than 50 lacs BDT, but less than or equal 2 crore BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 5733333.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 17200000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 5733333 ~ 17200000.
Eligibility criteria:
a) Reputed contractors/construction firms who have minimum 5 (five) years of general experience in construction works.
b) Having specific experience as a prime contractor in successful completion of at least 1(one) number of Building Construction works of Tk 40.00 (Forty) Lac in a single contract in Government /Semi-Government/ Autonomous Organization of Bangladesh during last 5 (Five) years. i) In case of the work done under PWD, the certifying and authenticating authority shall be the concerned Executive Engineer
ii) In case of the work done under any Government/ Semi-Government/ Autonomous Bodies/ Organization other than PWD the certifying authority shall be an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer and the same duly verified by the concerned Executive Engineer of PWD
f) The Tenderer must posses: i) Up to date trade license. ii) Valid VAT Registration certificate from concerned office. iii) Up to date income tax clearance certificate. iv) Up to date ABC category contractory and supervisory license from Electricity Licensing Board, GoB.
d) The Tenderer shall have a minimum annual average construction turnover of Tk. 100.00 (One Hundred) lac only in the best 3 (three) years of last 5 (five) years .
e) The minimum amount of liquid asset ie. working capital or credit facilities of the tenderer shall be Tk.70.00 (Seventy) Lac only substantiated by any schedule Bank of Bangladesh in the format as specified, without alternation or addition, issued not earlier than twenty-eight (28) days prior to the day of original deadline for submission of Tenders (original copy only).
f) Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) must be implenmented as per documents uploaded in section-8
g) The minimum tender capacity shall be Tk. Tk.50.00 (Fifty) Lac as per formula stated in TDS.
h) Tender will be evaluated with latest amendments of PPA 2006 & PPR 2008
