"The contract awarded DBO Firm/Contractor will be fully responsible for ensuring sustainable Operation & Maintenance (O & M) for initial 05 (five) years after successful completion of the scheme. For this purpose, a tripartite contract aggreement has to be furnished along with submission of a security bond amounting to 05% of the contract value of the scheme in the form of a Pay Order/ Bank Guarantee in favour of the relevent Executive Engineer before submission of the final bill which will be realeased after successful Operation & Maintenance (O & M) of the initial 05 (five) years"
"It is mandatory for all interested bidders/Representatives along with JV partners/ Representatives to participate in the pre-tender meeting through the e-GP system to have a better understanding of the implementation modality of the scheme"

Eligibility criteria for the selection of DBO contractors:
a) Construction Company/NGO/Social Enterprise/Joint Venture of Construction Company with Social Enterprise/NGOS.
b) Must have specific experience in the construction of Tube well/Production well/Overhead Water Tank (OHT)/ Water Treatment Plant/ Piped Water Supply Scheme.
c) Must have experience in operation & maintenance of water infrastructures/ pipe water supply schemes.
d) Financial solvency to invest in capital expenditure or operational expenditure.
