Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 2000, estimated cost should be more than 50 lacs BDT, but less than or equal 2 crore BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 5000000.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 15000000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 5000001 ~ 15000000.
Eligibility criteria:
Following documents shall have to be submitted with the tender:-
a) Specific Experience: Work completion certificate along with work order of successfully completed the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of minimum 01 No. 800 KG capacity passenger lift having country of origin USA/UK/EU Countries/Japan/South Korea and amounting to minimum Tk 30.0 (Thirty) Lac only in any Govt./Semi Govt./Autonomous bodies/multinational company in Bangladesh within last 05 (Five) years. Certificate must be issued by an official not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent.
b) Authorization/consent letter must be submitted from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) mentioning that, if the bidder awards the work order from Biman Bangladesh Airlines then the lift will be supplied directly from the respective manufacturer.
c) Valid agencyship/distributorship certificate from the manufacturer or consent letter from the valid Agent/Distributor.
d) Document regarding the proposed brand lift is satisfactorily operating in Bangladesh during minimum last 05 years.
e) Brand name/Country of origin, manufacturing & shipment etc. and detail technical information must specifically be mentioned as per description of BoQ.
f) Original/copy of technical brochures/catalogues of proposed items containing technical information, brand, model, origin, website address, etc shall have to submit with the tender.
g) Clean, clear and unconditional manufacturer’s full warranty certificate for a period of minimum 01(One) year from the date of hand over the project to Biman.
h) Assurance letter from manufacturer mentioning that, the spare parts of the proposed lift will be available for minimum 20 (Twenty) years.
i) Bidders are advised to visit the site and see the attached terms and conditions (Section: 08 of this tender document) before submitting their proposal.
