Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 1000, estimated cost should be less than or equal 50 lacs BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 66666.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 200000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 66666 ~ 200000.
Eligibility criteria:
This invitation for tenders is open to all eligible tenderers as mentioned below:
1. Successfully completed at least 1 (One) similar construction works under any Govt./ semi Govt./Autonomous Body of Bangladesh during last 10 (Ten) years (counted from the date of IFT) amounting at least Tk. 70000.00 as Prime Contractor / Subcontractor / Management Contractor. In Case of works done under PWD, the certifying and Authenticating Authority Should be The Concerned Executive Engineer. In Case of works done under any Govt./Semi Govt./Autonomous Body the certifying authority shall be an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer & the same duly verified by the concerned Executive Engineer of PWD under whose jurisdiction the work has been done.
2. The required average annual construction turnover shall be greater than Tk 1 (one) lac over the last 03 years.
3. Minimum Liquid assets/credit facility of Tk. 50000.00. Adequacy of minimum liquid assets substantiated by any scheduled Bank of Bangladesh as specified in the format (in tender document), without any alteration, issued not earlier than twenty-eight days prior to the day of the original deadline for submission of Tender.
4. Minimum Tender Capacity of 1 lac.
5. Evaluation will be conducted according to the latest PPR rules and its amendments and Tenderers are expected to submit their rates/documents accordingly.
6. Contractor must maintain pro-rata progress of work as mentioned in Section 8. Failure to do so may result in termination of contract.
