* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 10000000.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 30000000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 10000000 ~ 30000000.
Eligibility criteria:
Eligibility of Tenderer:
Only local manufacturer who have industrial license of producing uPVC materials will be allowed to bid this tender.
Updated ISO standardization certificate of the Manufacturer must be submitted with the offer.
Manufacturer must have industrial Project registration license issued by the Board of investment Government of Bangladesh, 03 (Three) years over all Manufacturer experience certificate of those particular/respective materials enclosed with the offer.
The minimum production capacity or availability of equipment is/are: Production capacity of uPVC pipe of the tenderer’s factory must have minimum 150 (One Hundred Fifty) meter per day. The purchaser may send representative to verify the technical and production ability of the manufacturer. The Tenderer will have to bear all cost of factory inspection.
The test of the sample of uPVC pipe and Fittings of technically & commercially responsive lowest bidder(s) for each lot will be done separately at the laboratory of recognized technical institution as per tender specification and terms-conditions. All costs including handling, carrying & testing will be borne by the supplier. The bidder must pay the test charges to BUET/MIST for each lot before testing. On test, if the sample fails to confirm the tender specification, then the offer will be rejected. In that case if Project Director (WEAPP), BADC, Jashore desire, sample of 2nd lowest responsive bidder may send for BUET/MIST test and so on. The bidder must send the sample for BUET test within 7 (seven) days of the date of issuing instruction letter.
The bidders can either bid for all tender in the same package & could be awarded one tender if they satisfy the aggregate qualification criteria.
Payment shall be made subject to availability of fund. No Claim in this regard will be entertained.
